What's the minimum stay?
There's a 7-night minimum per homeowners-association rules. Monthly and seasonal stays are very welcome — just ask.
How many people does the villa sleep?
Up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms, with dining seating for 15.
Is resort and beach club access included?
Your stay uses the homeowner's Dorado Beach Legacy Membership, which opens up the beach club, the resort restaurants, golf, the fitness center and The Watermill. Access is arranged through the club for each guest and carries a separate per-person fee, and the club approves each guest list.
What does resort access cost?
The club charges about $350 per person, per week, plus tax. Around major holidays — Thanksgiving, December 20 through January 6, Holy Week, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day — it is about $700 per person, per week, and that higher rate covers the weeks on either side of the holiday too. These are the club's rates and can change, so we confirm the current figure when you book.
Do children count toward the resort access fee?
Everyone 6 and older is counted. Children under 6 are free.
How far ahead do you need our guest names?
We ask for every guest's full name, dates and contact details about three weeks before you arrive. The club's own deadline is two weeks ahead, and guest access has to be approved by the club, so earlier is safer.
Can we bring day visitors to the club?
No — club access covers only the guests registered for your stay at the villa. Guests cannot sign in additional visitors at the beach club, restaurants or other resort facilities.
How do charges at the resort work?
Each guest gets a personal club card, and everything charged at the resort goes onto the villa's membership account rather than being paid in cash or by card on the spot. We settle it with you. Two things to know: the Ritz-Carlton Reserve's main pool and fitness center are reserved for hotel guests, and the Reserve restaurants — Positivo Sand Bar, Flor de Sal and COA — are open to villa guests after 6:00 PM with a reservation.
Can I book directly instead of through Vrbo?
Yes — booking direct is welcome and usually means a better rate, since there are no platform service fees. Use the inquiry form, email, or WhatsApp.
Are pets allowed?
Dog-friendly — dogs under 20 lbs, limit one pet. No other pets, and the home is non-smoking.
What are the check-in details?
Check-in after 4:00 PM, check-out before 11:00 AM. Minimum age to rent is 25. No onsite events or parties.
